Is unity compatible with the idea of "Identity Politics?" Doesn't such a concept by definition exploit differences to exaggerate them and force conflict? Do some think this a good thing? Is that because they feel that conflict and discomfort are deserved by some people or that conflict, by definition, comes to good resolution?
