Marijuana is now legal for recreational use in roughly two dozen states, and many people are contemplating when they can drive safely.
Research from the University of California, San Diego, and elsewhere suggests you should wait at least four hours before getting behind the wheel after smoking one joint. Wait even longer—at least six to eight hours—after ingesting a cannabis edible.

Sharks
The original names for sharks were sea dogs (because they hung around ships) and Schurk, which means ‘villain’ in Dutch. A group of sharks is called a 'shiver,' or, if you prefer, a 'firm.'
Modern forms of sharks evolved during the Jurassic Period about 150 million years ago, during the time of the giant dinosaurs. Between 2,000 and 3,000 ancient shark species have been described based on fossil evidence. The ancestry of sharks dates back before the earliest known dinosaur. Based on fossil scales found in Australia and the United States, scientists hypothesize sharks first appeared in the ocean around 455 million years ago.
Then they survived the Fifth Extinction.
So, how old are individual sharks? Where white sharks give birth is one of the holy grails of shark science. No one has ever been able to pinpoint where they are born, nor has anyone actually seen a newborn baby shark alive.
That is to say, they have never been seen to have a beginning.
In an extraordinary moment, images of a newborn great white shark were captured off Santa Barbara’s coast for what may be the first time ever. Or...it may just be a publicity stunt.
That said, pregnant white sharks have been killed and their fetuses found. So, while they are an ancient species, individually they probably weren't created at the beginning of time--or the Jurassic Period.
