Several years ago an aide in the House of Representatives was working
late in her office. At around eleven at night the representative whose
office was next door, Paul Ryan, walked in and asked a favor. One of his
staffers was caught on a bridge with a broken down car and he had no
way to get to her. Would she drive him there?
The aide agreed and drove Ryan to the site where Ryan got out of the
car, took his jacket off, changed the woman's tire and the aide then
drove him back to the office.
